Speaking English and French at the 24-hour front desk made communication a breeze. The staff were like multilingual superheroes, effortlessly saving the day with their linguistic powers.

Perfectly located, comfortable apartment. Nice view overlooking trees and sky. Warm welcome from helpful host. Well-equipped and clean apartment. AC and parking available. Close to restaurants, shops, and vineyards. Friendly locals and great for cycling. Good shower and comfortable bed.

We had a great Christmas getaway in this cozy apartment. the location was perfect, close to restaurants, wineries, and a local supermarket. the friendly locals made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby vineyards and trying the delicious wines. the apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with a good shower and a comfortable bed. We also loved the south-facing garden, where we could enjoy meals outdoors. the hostess was amazing, giving us a warm welcome and even leaving a bottle of wine and a bottle of water for us in the fridge.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. the previous guests hadn't cleaned some of the pans and cutlery properly, so a quick check before new arrivals would be beneficial.

Lovely little apartment in a great location for exploring the Loire. Excellent location, very comfortable. Annie and her daughter v friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the Loire. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It has a parking space and is perfectly located for the village. Nice little apartment a few minutes from the banks of the Loire. Lovely little village with some excellent wine and plenty of vineyards and wine cellars to visit. Comfortable accommodation, great location. Interesting mix of furniture and furnishings in a recently converted space with nice new velux windows and exposed beams. Plenty of space for two. My family arrived earlier than expected and were very grateful that we could go straight into our accommodation. The gite is very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, wineries, and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Gite d'Or.

The only issue was that the fridge needed airing - a very minor thing and we did book on the same day that we arrived so there was very little time to prepare. Didn’t have any large mugs to make a cup of tea but we managed with the small coffee cups.

our recent stay in vouvray was amazing, and le gite d'or exceeded expectations. the spacious and quiet apartment had good wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. its location was perfect for exploring the local area, with many attractions nearby. the owner and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Small wc could be uncomfortable for taller guests.

Great value for money and the room was cozy and clean. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful river. The staff, especially Annie, were welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of utensils and a larger frying pan.
